Joined the Utah Lepidopterists' Society in 1979.
Extensive research in the life history of the Papilio indra complex in the Western United States as well as on all its larval hostplants.
B.S. and Ph.D. in Zoology from Brigham Young University, M.S. in Wildlife Ecology from University of Arizona.
Currently serving as Utah Lepidopterists' Society President in 2007
