First in Utah to collect a hybrid Limenitis weidemeyeri latifascia x Limenitis archippus.
First in Utah to discover colonies of Incisalia polia in the Uinta Mountains.
Developed an extensive slide show web site on Utah butterflies for Surweb.
Assisted in several meetings teaching kids of the Utah Bug Club 2003.
Current Editor of Utah Lepidopterist.
ULS Synoptic Collection Manager
Involved in an extensive butterfly survey/count along an 1800 meter transect of the South Fork of the Provo River every summer since 2001. Monitors species fluctuations by week, month and year. Click here for the Big Springs Hollow Butterfly Monitoring Report.
